Mystic Roots is a herbal apothecary located on Sapelo Island, GA. We are blessed to call home this magical island full of "Mother" energy and wild Earth remedies. We offer small batch herbal products that are all made by hand. Our products are locally grown, ethically wildcrafted, or purchased from trusted organic suppliers to ensure you receive the highest quality possible.
We are deeply tapped into Ancestral medicine and the Gullah Geechee folkways and traditions of working with the plants that grow in our bio-regions. We ethically wildcraft or grow over 50% of the herbs used in our products. As an enthusiastic forager, we know that this practice of collecting plants at their peak potency ensures maximum therapeutic value. When we forage in the wild, we gain access to a diverse range of plants, some of which are not commercially available. The art of wildcrafting promotes a deep connection and appreciation for nature, and when done responsibly, it encourages ecological balance, supports local ecosystems, and offers a sustainable alternative to mass-produced herbal products.
